| Jack has a very sweet temperment. His mission in life is rides in the truck, eating, sleeping on the sofa, and most important, cuddling. He is your typical dane boy who will seek and provide all the love in the world. Prior to coming to our home, he had a "rough" life. I learned of Jack from an announcement on danesonline. The post stated there was an 18 month old dane in desparate need of a home prior to placement at a local shelter. A member of danesonline was assisting the owner with placement in a pet home, who also recently rescued his sister, Jill. Soon it became clear, Jack was Morgan's littermate. We introduced Jack and Morgan on November 2, 2003. From the first moment I met this sweet boy, I knew I needed to pull him from this very neglected home. He was not neutered and permanently separated from his sister Jill, who also was not spayed. Jill lived inside the home, while Jack lived outside in all forms of weather, lying on concrete. Immediately following his rescue, we decided it was best for Jack to be fully vetted and neutered. We faced several frustrating months, since Jack was not crate trained or potty trained. After much work and committment, Jack is an extremely pleasant, well behaved boy. Still to this day due to his past, he will not go potty in the rain. It is our mission in life to give this boy all he never had while growing up as a pup. It is truly a joy to have Jack in our lives, since each and every day he brings smiles and laughter into our lives. |
