| Morgan is my first dane, my heart dane. In April, 2002 I began looking in the paper for a great dane puppy. I located a breeder approximately 30 miles away, who were at that point in time, 2 weeks of age. I thought...how lucky I am! I went the following day to look at the litter, and picked out a beautiful fawn girl. What I did not realize is that I went about it all wrong. Looking for a dane in the "Pets for Sale" section in the local newspaper was not the right approach to purchasing a dane. I did not know any better at the time, and this is how Morgan came into my life. Morgan has been the "rock" in my life. She has been there for me through good times and in bad. She has experienced the laughter and fun times, as well as there to lick the tears away. After much research and the inability to make contact with the breeder after purchasing Morgan, I soon came to learn that I had purchased her from a BYB. Thankfully, she has been very healthy and turned 8 years old on May 31st. I am grateful to have this girl in my life who exhibits true characteristics of this breed. |
